We're trying to align our policies with GIL Express and the system is now set up to reject renewals once an item has gone overdue. 

It's a pain, but unfortunately necessary as lending becomes more statewide and less school-specific.  It's not a big deal at all.  Just bring the books by and we'll discharge them and check them back out to you.  It's nothing personal.
